SAG 2012 WRAP UP

Can we say ultimate Hollywood couple? Brad Pitt has been crowned People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” more than any other cover guy and Angelina Jolie is of course one of Hollywood’s most beautiful women. Brad and Angie haven’t taken the walk down the isle ( that we know of ), but the glamorous duo has taken plenty of jaw dropping and sexy walks down the red carpet. We all love them, we all drool over them and can’t wait to see more!

No “Help” needed! Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer are two of Hollywood’s most talented actors and voted so by a group of their peers. The 2012 SAG Award winners have hit their red carpet stride. Viola just keeps getting better and better. Ms. Davis has been seen in electric pink, ocean blue and won fashion lover’s votes in her white and bronze embellished Marchesa gown. Octavia Spencer is winning role is a sassy maid in the 1960′s south but this award season she is really cleaning up! Octavia’s red carpet style just keeps getting better and her makeup is flawless. I am in love with her smoky, grey eyes and glowing cheek, she looks marvelous!

My favorite looks of the night can be described as classic, flattering and daring. Tilda Swenton never fails to give fashion lovers something to talk about. This time, the androgynous, hit the red carpet in the color of the night and turned heads in a floor length, white Lavin gown. Bridesmaids superstar, Melissa McCarthy donned a navy, draped and beaded cowlneck gown by Badgley Mischka, accessorized with Neil Lane jewelry and a Badgley Mischka crystal clutch. Honestly, this is my favorite dress of the night in my favorite color – sensational! The night’s best looks were glamorous, dramatic — and just a bit risky. Rose Byrne set the bar high in a sparkling, wrap-front Elie Saab jumpsuit from the designer’s Fall 2009 collection.

Newlyweds John Kransinski and Emilt Blunt might have been one of the night’s sweetest couples. John was dapper in a navy blue Prada tux while Emily’s gown was the brightest and one of the night’s most beautiful in citrus green Oscar de la Renta. Yet it was the missus bright coral lip, clean skin and deep brow that caught my eye. Emily Blunt is my makeup pick of the evening – making a minimalist beauty statement with luminous skin and zesty coral lips.

Award season is in full swing stay tuned for more of my red carpet fashion and beauty opinions!
