WORK TO PLAY
The end of the week is near and you’re itching to start your weekend but that 4:30pm conference call is running about an hour too long! You’re staring at your reflection in the computer thinking, ” Will I have time to jazz up my makeup before my date?” Answer, “Yes – Go from work to play in 90 seconds!”
Grab your foundation, use it over the lids as an eyeshadow base. Add shimmering shadows over the lid, extend toward the outer corners of the eyes. Use a dark brown eyeshadow along the outer crease to create definition. Apply a blend of loose or pressed powder and a pearlized eyeshadow to highlight the brow bone. Want more definition? Blend a sparse amount of the taupe and blush toned eyeshadow directly under the lower lash line. This technique adds depth to the eye. Add black mascara to upper lashes only, spare the lower lashes. Adding dark tones to the upper eye areas creates the illusion that your eyes are bigger and brighter, highlighting your pretty eyes!
